TJS is looking to raise the bar on spreadsheet trade-tracking. We're thinking... all markets from 1-file, menu driven, multiple broker ledger, new design, more tracking capabilities, interactive macros, etc.
What do you think... comments, suggestions... anyone!
hi this is omar from spain greg! the only thing i miss is automatic import data, so you could import directly the trade history from your broker account and then work over that data, filling it later with strategy stuff, hyperlinks with images/ docs,feedback and all the things your trading sheet has that makes it so useful,when you do 2 -4 trades por day is maybe a piece of cake doing it manually but when the day comes that you face 20 or 30 trades a day it can be a pain just making the input manually.
ReplyDeletei know that it is a messworking automatic import for different brokers but at least having it for mt 4 platform( almost all brokers has the option of working with that one) would be nice i trade forex and recently bought your sheet , very very good stuff.
about showing pl and pips, keep it both, pl in $ is ok for your self steem but for me i found more wise avaluating my performance in pips, so as the stakes goes higher the money goes same way ,but pip gains are the true performance data. in my oppinion keep just the way it is already.

Hi Omar... Thank you for your comment and feedback! Good things are coming around the corner and the TJS is always evolving. I hope to be able to incorporate broker import features in the futures - it's a big endeavor, you're right.
